1. Who we are
This website and store (movingdifferently.tv) is operated by Thunder X Limited (company number 10882949), registered at 50 Liverpool Street, London EC2M 7PY, United Kingdom, trading as Moving Differently (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at store@movingdifferently.tv. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. What Moving Differently merch is
Moving Differently merch is priced as close to cost as we can make it. It isn’t run to make a profit. Everyone’s finances move differently, and the aim is merch people can actually afford. Every item is made to order on demand through our print partner, Printify, and its independent production partners. Where possible, items are printed in or near your region to cut delivery times and costs. Some orders may be printed in another country.
3. Your consumer rights
If you buy as a consumer, these terms do not affect your legal rights. In the UK those include your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law. If any part of these terms conflicts with rights you have by law, your legal rights apply.
4. Products and images
We try to show our products accurately. Product images are digital mock-ups, so colours, print placement and print size on the finished item may vary slightly. Screens also show colours differently. Garment sizes can vary slightly between batches, so please check the size guide on each product page. Small variations like these are normal for print-on-demand items and don’t make an item faulty.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT. If your card or account is in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add fees.
- Delivery is charged separately and is shown at checkout before you pay.
- For orders delivered outside the UK and the EU, local import duties, taxes or customs fees may be payable when the parcel arrives. These are not included in our prices and are the responsibility of the recipient.
- If we make an obvious error in a price or product description, we may contact you to correct it or cancel the order and refund you in full.
6. Orders and contract
When you place an order you’ll get an email confirming we’ve received it. The contract between us starts when we accept your order and send it to production. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if we can’t deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we’ll tell you and refund you in full. Because items are made to order, please email us straight away if you need to cancel or change an order. We can only change or cancel orders that haven’t gone into production.
7. Delivery
We ship worldwide to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery costs and estimated times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Production usually takes a few working days before dispatch. Estimated delivery times aren’t guaranteed, but if your order is significantly late please contact us. Please make sure your delivery address is complete and correct. Ownership and risk in the goods pass to you when they are delivered.
8. Faulty, damaged or misprinted items, cancellations and returns
Damaged, faulty or misprinted items will be replaced or refunded. Your cancellation rights, and how returns work, are explained in our Refund Policy. In short: please report a problem with a photo within 30 days of delivery so we can arrange a reprint quickly. This does not limit your legal rights.
9. Product safety and care
- Follow the care instructions on the product label and product page. As a general rule, wash garments inside out at a low temperature, don’t tumble dry at high heat, and don’t iron directly over the print.
- Flags and banners are lightweight polyester. Keep them away from open flames and heat sources, and don’t leave them where a young child could pull them down or become tangled in them.
- Our products are not toys and are not designed for children under 3.
- Product safety information, and manufacturer and (where required) responsible-person details, appear on the product label, the product page or the packaging. If you think a product is unsafe, stop using it and contact us at store@movingdifferently.tv. We will investigate and, where needed, take corrective action and inform the relevant authorities.
10. Intellectual property
All designs, logos, artwork, text and images on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission. Buying a product does not give you any rights in the design.
11. Using this website
You agree not to misuse the site. For example, you must not try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for anything unlawful. We may change, suspend or withdraw the site or any product at any time.
12. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Our products are for domestic and private use only, so we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information. To fulfil your order, we share your name, delivery address and contact details with our print and delivery partners.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place your order applies to that order.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you can also bring proceedings in your country of residence and you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws. If you have a complaint, please email us first. We’ll do our best to sort it out quickly.
